About OAGV

Strength for today and great hope for tomorrow

ORPHANS AGAINST GUN VIOLENCE (OAGV) is a non-profit organization founded in 2020 by a young lady who lost her father to a senseless act of violence in Baltimore City in 2019.

OAGV recognizes the need for an organization to have a defined mission, SMART goals, and clear objectives to meet those goals. As a team, we use our personal life experiences, our talents and passions, along with our degrees and qualifications to provide quality and timely services to those who need it most.

Being an organization by orphans, for orphans, OAGV is relatable, personable, and transparent. Its services, including financial literacy workshops, book club, and one-on-one grief counseling, will assist orphans of all ages (and their parents) with navigating the death of their parent.
